“I finally just got on my knees and gave it all to the Lord.”  Those are the words of, no, not #9 FCAR rapper Kanye West, but former MLB and NFL great Deion Sanders (#5 FEIR), who recently revealed that he almost committed suicide years back to fellow friend and wide receiver Antonio Brown (#9 FCAR).

“I was suicidal, dog. I almost did that thing,” Sanders said in the Bleacher Report video sitting besides Brown. “I tried to do that thing because I couldn’t handle that. I got to an emotional low, a devastation of personal things going on, and I couldn’t handle it. I’m glad and thankful you ain’t never tried to check out.”  Sanders went on to tell Brown that he was too wrapped up in being “Primetime.”  If anyone knows a thing or two about the #5 FEIR, they know that they relish anything and everything “Primetime”!  That is, the attention, the limelight, and all the thrills that the “good life” can bring.  Sanders went on to tell Brown, “Slowly, but surely, I had to deal with my faith, deal with my strength. I had to get a lot of Word in so that I could fight off the enemy. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my faith. People argue about what faith is, and who Jesus is, but it works for me. I’m not going to sit here and argue about who is what, and what is what, I’m just going to say it works for me.”

They were good words for Brown to hear, who has had a tumultuous 12 months.  Antonio is dealing with current sexual assault and rape accusations, and was arrested for allegedly punching a mover near his Florida home.  On top of that are charges of burglary with battery, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and criminal mischief.  When one thinks of the “Pied Piper” #9, they don’t typically think of such serious accusations!  To be sure, when the FCAR gets emotionally charged, they can be highly volatile, particularly when a strong father figure has been absent from their lives.

Deion is the Empirical, Inanimate father figure Brown needs right now, speaking sense and wisdom into his life.  Antonio definitely needs to pull a Kanye and turn his life around before it’s too late.
