We really enjoy informing our readers about peoples’ inborn Brain Types. We really, really enjoy it when it when months, or even years later, that particular person says, or does, something exactly in line with their inborn design. Years ago we told our readers the Brain Type of female golf’s Lydia Ko, who currently stands at number 3 in the world. Lydia is a #1 FEAR. As such, we know that #1s are typically fun-loving, outgoing individuals who perhaps have the smallest “verbal filter” of arguably any of the 16 designs. They live in the moment, are high energy, and as “feeling”, Right brain Animates, they don’t typically slow down to overanalyze what they’re about to say. So, when Lydia Ko was interviewed last week and told a reporter why she was having back pains, the world was both surprised and highly amused, but not Brain Type enthusiasts.
“Golf’s world No. 3 Lydia Ko has been praised for her honest answer about being on her period which left her interviewer lost for words,” wrote a CNN reporter just a few days ago. Ko was seen receiving treatment from her physical therapist for an apparent tight back, which caused Golf Channel reporter Jerry Foltz to ask about the trainer and the treatment and whether there were any long-term concerns.
“I hope not,” answered Ko. “It’s that time of the month.”
The reporter, as already mentioned, was left speechless, as Ko went on further to say, “I know the ladies watching are probably like: ‘Yeah, I got you.’ So, when that happens, my back gets really tight, and I’m all twisted. It’s not the first time that Chris (Wicker) has seen me twisted, but it felt a lot better after he came. So, yeah, there you go.”
Hilarious! Ko immediately noticed Foltz’s awkward reaction (remember, dominant Empirical!), and reassured him with a smile, saying, “I know you’re at a loss for words, Jerry. Honesty it is.”
Since the incident Ko has become quite the online hero, with women praising her left and right. ESPN journalist Zenia D’cunha Tweeted, “We should normalize women in sports talking about periods like this. It’s not an excuse or an embarrassment, it’s just a bodily function.”
Yet, on the other hand, newly-appointed SCOTUS Jurist, Katanji Brown Jackson, said she couldn’t define a woman, so maybe for the newly-Woke crowd, Ko’s revelation best be kept censored—like so many other issues once proudly allowed under Constitutional free speech.
All we can say is … leave it to a #1 to shock the world with awkward honesty!
