The way we digest news has certainly changed over the last 10 years.  While television and newspapers used to dominate the information landscape, today we see social media, podcasts and several other digital platforms quickly taking over.  In the past, competent, well-spoken folks like Dan Rather (#15 FCIL), Tom Brokaw (#11 FCAL), Peter Jennings (#15), and Diane Sawyer (#15)  entered our living rooms every weekday evening to deliver the day’s news to the average American family, yet now we see some lesser polished, though still quite competent individuals entering any room of our home but instead on our home computers or digital smartphones.

On the conservative side, several #15s can be found.  Take Candace Owens, the feisty but highly intelligent and articulate political commentator, author, and podcaster.  Though described by many as being on the far right, she certainly takes no prisoners, often criticizing Donald Trump (#15), Elon Musk (#13 FCIR), or any other seemingly conservative political figures who seem to speak from both sides of the mouth.  There’s also Charlie Kirk (#15), who initially made a made a name for himself by visiting college campuses and confronting left-leaning students on a variety of issues from transgenderism to abortion.  There’s also Megyn Kelly (#15 FCIL), who we’ve showcased on the blog before.  Of course, most of us know the names of Tucker Carlson or Dan Bongino, both of whom are #13 FCIRs.

On the left, have you seen CNN’s Kaitlan Collins?  She’s another calculating, bold #15 FCIL, a woman unafraid to ruffle feathers.  Of course, we all know of #15 FCIL Katie Couric, who still is active on the political scene.  Or how about Andrea Mitchell (#15), whose glare could frighten a hardened sailor?

Yes, #15s can be found on both sides of the political aisle, and while some #15s can sometimes be a bit more, shall we say, wishy washy (or less objective) than others (i.e. Sean Hannity, Brian Williams, etc), all #15s certainly share the same inner drive for competence that makes them so successful at their craft.

Till the end of human existence, #15s will be leading the charge (we miss you Rush Limbaugh!).
