So the NBA has seen its share of trades recently. Most notable have been the dealings of the Philadelphia 76ers, who just recently acquired two men of a similar feather. For those uninformed, Lebron James from the Los Angeles Lakers and Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics are both headed to Philly, and an article was recently published about it titled, “In LeBron James, Jaylen Brown finally gets the perfect running mate.” Needless to say, we found the piece both interesting and ironic, and a bit humorous.
Described in the article as “two of NBA’s most outspoken Black men,” Lebron and Jaylen are both, unsurprisingly, #1 FEARs. After the trades were made, the author writes, “My first thought was, finally, Jaylen Brown has his intellectual running mate.” Yes, we suppose, that statement is pretty much true. Granted, each individual with the same inborn design of another individual doesn’t automatically equal intellectual sameness, but it doesn’t seem that’s what the author was getting at anyway. Instead, his focus appears to be on “vocality”. Both James and Brown have been politically vocal, along with both Chris Paul and Kevin Durant over “abuses of power” and “assaults on the African American community.” Ironically, all these men happen to be #1s. And even as novice Brain-Typists know, #1s emotionally speak their minds.
“But the basketball questions interest me far less than the potential teacher-student/mentor-mentee relationship between James and Brown,” writes the author, lastly. To be sure, both will speak a similar language, despite differences in upbringing, brain health, etc. Lebron and Jaylen are dominant Empiricals who critique matters from an Animate perspective, so they’ll have that “going” for them. They’ll also bring their high energy to the court, despite James now being 41 years old. To be sure, it should be an interest season for the team!
And not to mention, also bringing his high energy will be Joel Embiid, a #9 FCAR. Add to that up-and-coming star, Tyrese Maxey, another #9 FCAR, the 76ers projected starting lineup will include four very ‘emotive’ BTs! And with all them spontaneous Right-brained dominant, don’t be surprised to see an emotional venting each game. Bottom line, however, the 76ers will be a force to be reckoned with.
